Punjab Warehousing Corporation (PWC) official suicide case in Amritsar | Wife of deceased Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, Upinder Kaur says, “…Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar tortured my husband a lot. My husband was made so helpless that he took his own life…He was told that his family, his children, would be finished off and gangsters would be put after him. He was tortured a lot on 13th March at his office. On Saturday morning, yesterday, he took his own life. I have 3 young children. I have a mother-in-law. All of us demand justice. Make arrests. Postmortem and last rites will be conducted only after that…I want justice and nothing else. After he came back on 13th March, he had told me everything…He had even made a complaint to his department. They only kept giving him assurances, but nothing happened…FIR was not registered initially under government’s pressure…This was all done because a tender was not passed. It was being implied that my husband was not passing it deliberately…I fear for my life; security should be provided to my children and me…If anything happens to us, this Govt would be responsible for it…”
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਉਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੇਤ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਦਿਲਬਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲਟਕ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੰਡਾਵਲੀ (ਆਈਪੀਸੀ) ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 108 ਤਹਿਤ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਉਕਸਾਉਣ, 351(3) ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਧਮਕੀ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ 3(5) ਅਪਰਾਧ ਲਈ ਉਕਸਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਏ ?
ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ – ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਾ ਬਿਆਨ
ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੀਣ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ; ਤੂੰ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਖਾ ਲੈ।” ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ।
ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੀਨਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੇਅਰ ਹਾਊਸ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਡੀਐਮ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਸਲਫਾਸ ਨਿਗਲ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਡੀਐਮ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ’ਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਭੁੱਲਰ ’ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਏ।
