ਧਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਦੀ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ (ਐਸਟੀਐਫ) ਨੇ ਰਾਏਪੁਰ ਮੰਡਲਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰੇਰੀ ਜੱਟਾਂ ਟੋਲ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਜਾਪਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਕਦੀ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ, ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ:
