Passing-out parade ‘ਚ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ‘ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ’ ਕੀਤੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਸਿੰਗ-ਆਊਟ ਪਰੇਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ (ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼) ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਜਤਾਈ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਸਿੰਗ-ਆਊਟ ਪਰੇਡ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ (ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼) ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਜਤਾਈ ਹੈ। ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ (CO) ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, “ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਜਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਕਿਸੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵਰਦੀ ਪਹਿਨ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ਲ ‘ਪਾਸਿੰਗ-ਆਊਟ ਪਰੇਡ’ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ਲ ਬੈਕਗ੍ਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਰੇਸ਼ਨਲ (ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ) ਫੌਜੀ ਸਾਜ਼ੋ-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ। ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਦੇਖੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਾਇਲਟ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਸਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਬੈਟ ਆਰਮੀ ਐਵੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਟਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ (CAATS) ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਟਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਇੱਕ ਆਰਮੀ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗੇਤਰ ਆਰੂਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਪੋਜ਼ਲ 2 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਸਿੰਗ-ਆਊਟ ਪਰੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਐਵੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਸਪਲੇਅ (ਹਵਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ) ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਟਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕੈਪਟਨ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
