ਮੇਟ ਗਾਲਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਲਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦੰਦ(Ivory) ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲਡਨ ਸ਼ੇਰਵਾਨੀ ਪਹਿਨੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਦਿਲਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਤਹਿਮਤ(Tehmat), ਜਵਾਹਰਾਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜੀ ਪੱਗ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਫ਼ੈਦ ‘ਕਲਗੀ’ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ, ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਿੰਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਫੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਹੱਥੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਢਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਕ ਕੇਪ (ਕੱਪੜਾ) ਵੀ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਦਿਲਜੀਤ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਪੇਜ ’ਤੇ ਗਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੁਪਰਸਟਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੀਡੀਓਜ਼ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਲੜੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਟ ਬਾਲ ਲਈ ਹੋਟਲ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇੱਕ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਧਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯਤਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਹੈ “ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ” ਸੋ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਊਯਾਕਰ ਟਾਈਮਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਥਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਹੈ,
ਧੁਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਤਾਂ ਨਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਅਧੂਰੇ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੰਚ ਤੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਲਸਾਈ ਜਲਵੇ ਬਿਖੇਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਦਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਲੀਆਂ ਟਿਕਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਲੀ ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਤੇ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਣੇ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਰਾਜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ

Dosanjh’s ensemble was a tribute to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh, known for his opulence and the legendary Cartier collection. While the original Patiala necklace, featuring a 1,000-carat diamond, couldn’t be borrowed due to its museum housing, custom jewelry was crafted to evoke its grandeur. The kirpan replaced the traditional dandy walking stick, symbolizing Sikh duty and protection, and reinterpreted Black dandyism—a style of self-expression and resistance—through a South Asian lens. Dosanjh told The New York Times, “It’s all about carrying your identity with pride, right?” His look was lauded for mirroring the theme’s spirit of cultural pride and tailoring as resistance, with fans on X noting, “He’s not co-opting—he’s standing with it”.
