ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗਾਇਕ ‘ਤੇ ਐੱਨ.ਆਰ.ਆਈ. ਕੁੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ 30 ਮਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਆਦਿ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਮਾਮਲਾ ਐੱਨ.ਆਰ.ਆਈ. ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਂ, ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਡੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਪੀ. ਭਾਰਤ ਭੂਸ਼ਣ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਕੋਰਟ ‘ਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ 14 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਂਇਕ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ‘ਚ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼
ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਲੀਬ੍ਰਿਟੀ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਆਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਵੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ
ਪੀੜਤ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦੱਸੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਰਚੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਸੋਨੇ-ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ, ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਗਿਫਟ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਕਰੀਬ 22-25 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਹੋਏ। ਬੰਗਾ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਕ ਪੈਲਸ ‘ਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਪਰ ਉਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਦਖਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ
ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ 30 ਮਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਸਣੇ ਹੋਰ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ‘ਚ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਬਾਅਦ ‘ਚ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਰੇਪ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ ਜੋੜਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਫਗਵਾੜਾ, 13 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2025 – ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਗਾਇਕ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਏ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਾਮਾਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਤਨੀ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਦੇ ਸਦਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਵੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਥਾਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਬਿਆਨ:
“ਹਸਨ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਹਾਂ।”
ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਸਬੂਤਵਿਆਹ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਵਿਖੇ 28 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਵਿਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 30 ਨੇੜਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
ਵੀਡੀਓ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣੇ ਸੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ, ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
ਪਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ ਬਿਆਨਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਦੇ ਡੀਐਸਪੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ: “ਮਾਮਲਾ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ‘ਤੇ IPC ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ 498A, 494, 495 ਅਤੇ 420 ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਸਨ ਮਾਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
The complaint, filed earlier this week, paints a distressing picture of deception and betrayal. The accuser, a Canada-based woman in her late 20s, alleges that she entered into a relationship with Manak in 2023, which quickly escalated into a secret marriage ceremony in Punjab. According to police sources, she claims Manak, who was already married, convinced her to tie the knot under false pretenses of love and commitment. Post-marriage, the woman reportedly transferred substantial sums—estimated at over ₹50 lakh (approximately $60,000 USD)—to Manak for various “business ventures” and personal expenses, including funding his music projects and lavish lifestyle.”He promised me the world, but all I got was heartbreak and empty pockets,” the complainant told reporters outside the Phagwara police station, her voice trembling with emotion. She further accused Manak of emotional manipulation, including threats to leak private photos and videos if she dared to speak out. The duo’s relationship, which began through mutual connections in the Punjabi diaspora, reportedly soured when she discovered his existing marriage and refused to send more money.Phagwara Senior Superintendent of Police, Jaspreet Singh, confirmed the arrest during a press briefing this afternoon. “The investigation is in its early stages, but we have recorded statements from the complainant and seized digital evidence, including chat logs and bank transfer records. Manak was apprehended at his residence in Jalandhar without incident,” Singh stated. Authorities have invoked sections of the Indian Penal Code related to cheating (Section 420), criminal intimidation (Section 506), and bigamy, along with provisions under the Information Technology Act for alleged cyber threats.
