ਸ਼ਾਰਲਟ, ਐਨਸੀ – ਚੰਦਰਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਸਿੰਘ, 44 ਸਾਲਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ , ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ‘ਤੇ ਚਾਕੂ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਘਟਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਰਲਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੌਕਸਹੇਵਨ ਡ੍ਰਾਈਵ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ।

Charlotte, NC – Chandraprabha Singh, a 44-year-old Indian-origin teacher assistant, was arrested for allegedly attacking her husband, Arvind Singh, with a knife after he failed to clean their apartment. The incident occurred at their residence on Foxhaven Drive in Charlotte.
Arvind suffered a neck injury and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Chandraprabha claimed the stabbing was accidental and happened while she was cooking. She has been charged with felony assault, granted a $10,000 secured bond, ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device, and prohibited from contacting her husband.
