ਦਿਲਜੀਤ ਦੀ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ’95 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਢੂੰਘੀ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ CBFC ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਤੇ ਕੈਂਚੀ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ 85 ਕੱਟ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ।
ਹਨੀ ਤ੍ਰੇਹਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਹੇਠ ਬਣੀ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬ 95’ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਜਸਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲੜਾ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ 1984-1994 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਪਤਾ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਇਹੀ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਦਿਲਜੀਤ ਦੋਸਾਂਝ ਨੇ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬ 95’ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਮਿਡ ਡੇਅ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ‘ਚ ਫਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ‘ਚ 85 ਕੱਟ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੁਕੀਆਂ। ਮਿਡ ਡੇਅ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਝਿਜਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੋਰਟਲ ਨੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ 85 ਕਟੌਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫਿਲਮ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਵਾਦਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ‘ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਸੀਬੀਐਫਸੀ ਨੇ ਅਜੇ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਵੈਸੇ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਫਿਲਮ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਉਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ‘ਘੱਲੂਘਾਰਾ’ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ 21 ਕੱਟ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਰੋਨੀ ਸਕ੍ਰੂਵਾਲਾ ਨੇ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਬੰਬੇ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਨਤੀਜਾ ਇਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਫਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ 2023 ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਫੈਸਟੀਵਲ ਦੀ ਲਾਈਨ ਅੱਪ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ।
