ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਤਲਖ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਪੂੰਛ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਕਰੜੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੂੰਛ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਗੋਲਾਬਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੂੰਛ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈ ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਗੀ, ਭਾਈ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਫੌਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਾਨਕੋਟ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਬੀਬੀ ਰੂਬੀ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੂੰਛ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਪੂੰਛ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੰਗ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਘਾਣ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਯਤਨ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ 1947 ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਸੀ ਕੁੜੱਤਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਵੱਡੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਝੱਲੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਾਸਕਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਾਰਡਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਤਣਾਅ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਓਟ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਹਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਨ।
ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਅਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇ।

Jathedar Gargajj strongly condemns killing of civilians and attack on Gurdwara in Poonch by Pakistani shelling
Sri Amritsar, May 7:
Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has strongly condemned the attack in the Poonch region of Kashmir, where civilians, including Sikhs, were killed and a gurdwara was attacked amid rising tensions and cross-border attacks between India and Pakistan.
Jathedar Gargajj stated that during Pakistan’s retaliatory shelling in Poonch—following India’s Operation Sindoor—the central Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha was hit. During the attacks in Poonch, three Gursikhs were killed – Bhai Amrik Singh (a raagi), Bhai Amarjeet Singh (a retired army soldier), and Bhai Ranjit Singh (a local shopkeeper). Additionally, reports have emerged of a Sikh woman named Ruby Kaur being killed in the Mankote area. Other civilian casualties in Poonch have also come to light. The Jathedar offered prayers for the spiritual peace of those who lost their lives and strength for their families to endure the loss.
He emphasized that both nations’ governments must immediately make sincere efforts to restore peace. “War always severely harms humanity, often resulting in the deaths of many innocent people,” he said. “Therefore, every possible effort must be made to resolve the current situation peacefully.”
Jathedar Gargajj also noted that since 1947, both countries have suffered immense losses due to ongoing hostilities—particularly the Hindu and Sikh communities in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged border residents to support one another during these tense times, seek solace in Gurbani, and pray to the Akal Purakh (the One
Timeless being) for peace and strength.
Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj offered Ardas (Sikh prayer) to the Akal Purakh that peace and harmony may always prevail in this region.
