ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਬਲਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ‘ਅਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ’ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਉੱਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ। ਇਹ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਬਰ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਏਐੱਨਆਈ ਕੋਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨੌਂ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਿਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੈਸ਼-ਏ-ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਅਤੇ ਲਸ਼ਕਰ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਤੜਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਘੜੀ ਗਈ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਤੇ ਮਿਸਾਇਲ ਹਮਲਾ!
ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਰੀਲੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਵਲੀਅਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਨਹੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਿਰਫ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤਹਿਸ-ਨਹਿਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਸਿਰਫ ਭਾਰਤ ‘ਚ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

), stated the strikes hit nine sites, including a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) base in Bahawalpur, describing the operation as “focused, measured, and non-escalatory” with no Pakistani military sites targeted. The operation was framed as a retaliatory measure against terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and its proxy, The Resistance Front (TRF), which claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack. India’s Ministry of Defence emphasized the strikes addressed terror planning directed at India. Pakistan has not officially responded, and no independent verification of the strikes or their impact is available. Tensions remain high, with ongoing ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), including artillery fire in Poonch-Rajauri reported on May 6, 2025

U.S. President Donald Trump described the recent Indian military strikes in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir as a “shame,” expressing hope that the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan would resolve quickly. The strikes, launched on May 6, 2025, targeted nine sites India claimed were terrorist camps, in retaliation for an April 22, 2025, attack in India-administered Kashmir that killed 26 people, mostly tourists. Trump made these remarks at the White House, noting the long history of conflict over Kashmir and urging a swift end to the hostilities.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls for maximum military restraint from India and Pakistan, says his spokesperson.

In a note to correspondents issued by his spokesperson on Tuesday, Secretary-General António Guterres called for military restraint from both countries.

“The world cannot afford a military confrontation between India and Pakistan,” the note said.

On Monday, the Secretary-General had warned that the tensions between the two South Asian neighbours had reached “their highest in years.”

He offered his good offices to both governments to help defuse tensions and promote diplomacy, stressing that “a military solution is no solution.”

Speaking to the media on Monday, Mr. Guterres condemned the 22 April terror attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, which left at least 26 civilians dead and many more injured.

“Targeting civilians is unacceptable – and those responsible must be brought to justice through credible and lawful means,” he said.

 

 

 

 

ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ 6 ਮਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਮਤ, ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਵਿਗਾੜੂ ਹਮਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜਾਣੇ-ਪਛਾਣੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਕੈਂਪ ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ, ਆਰਥਿਕ ਜਾਂ ਫੌਜੀ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੂਤਘਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ (NSA) ਅਜੀਤ ਡੋਵਲ ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ NSA ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਰਕੋ ਰੂਬੀਓ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

) says, “I think the Pahalgam attack was a barbaric attack, it was on innocent civilians, tourists and it was designed to create communal divide in India by targeting Hindu tourists specifically. So, I think… India’s answer, India’s response has been well thought out, very well calibrated… to target nine terrorist camps in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as in mainland Pakistan. Bahawalpur and Muridke are the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was India has intending for some time… that terror headquarter must be targeted and that has been done. India has done it in a very coordinated manner by targeting with missile strikes. India has made it very clear that it has struck what it wanted too, now Pakistan has to respond. If it responds militarily, India is ready.”

Operation Sindoor: Here’s what Rahul Bhonsle, Director, Security Risks Asia, says, “After the statements given by the prime minister, defence minister and other ministers, it was very obvious that India is going to target the terrorist infrastructure and headquarters on the other side of Pakistan border. This is what exactly carried out in Operation Sindoor. I think there is a very strong military message gone to the other side – you can not carry out these terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and India. If escalation is there, the onus will lie on Pakistan.”
