Punjab Police’s Ludhiana Commissionerate has busted an extortion module linked to Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar (Satinderjeet Singh alias Goldy Brar). In a focused three-week operation, they arrested 10 operatives (key members/gang members) and recovered 12 sophisticated illegal weapons, including 2 Austrian-made Glock pistols and 10 other firearms.The arrested individuals were involved in illegal arms trafficking, extortion demands (targeting businessmen across Punjab and other states), and planned murders to create lawlessness. ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਚਲਾਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਸਤਿੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਗਰੋਹ ਦੇ 10 ਮੈਂਬਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਜਬਰੀ ਵਸੂਲੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਤੇ ਅਸਲਾ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸਵਪਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗਰੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਤੇ 10 ਅਪਰੇਟਿਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ 12 ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੜਗਾਓਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮੀ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਮੰਗਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 12 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2025 ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਨੰ. 4 ਵਿੱਚ ਐੱਫ ਆਈ ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਗਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੰਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਜਤਿਨ ਸੈਮ, ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੱਸੀ, ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਗਰੋਵਰ, ਜਤਿਨ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ, ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਕਨੂੰ, ਮਾਨਵ, ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਰੇਸ਼ ਸੇਠੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੱਤ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ 9 ਐੱਮ ਐੱਮ ਗਲੋਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ (ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ) ਅਤੇ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਣਚੱਲੇ ਰੌਂਦ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਲੇਮ ਟਾਬਰੀ ’ਚ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਜਤਿਨ ਮੱਟੂ ਉਰਫ਼ ਮਾਕੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਨਾਲ ਮਾਛੀਕੇ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਡੀ ਐੱਮ ਸੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ੇਰੇ-ਇਲਾਜ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਜਤਿਨ ਮੱਟੂ ਮਕੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਨਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਹੋਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
