The victim is 52-year-old Indian national Raj Jasuja.
He was allegedly assaulted by a group of Thai transgender women (often referred to as “ladyboys” in local media) following a dispute over payment for sexual services.
According to witnesses, the argument escalated when Jasuja reportedly refused or failed to pay the full agreed amount after engaging their services.
Rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation found him around 5:30 AM with injuries to his face and the back of his head. He received first aid on-site and was transferred to a hospital (sources vary between Pattaya Memorial Hospital, Pattamakun Hospital, or similar local facilities) for further treatment.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements. They plan to pursue an investigation once Jasuja recovers enough to file a formal complaint.
Jasuja has not publicly commented on the incident.
