ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕੋਚ ਗੌਤਮ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਜਿਗਨੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਰਮਾਰ ਵਾਸੀ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਐਮ ਹਰਸ਼ ਵਰਧਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਗੌਤਮ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਅਕਾਊਂਟ ‘ਤੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਮਲੇ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਚੁਕਾਉਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੂੰ ISIS ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੋ ਈਮੇਲ ਮਿਲੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਾਨੋਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਸਮਝਦਿਆਂ, ਉਸਨੇ ਰਾਜੇਂਦਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਈ।

ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਜਿਗਨੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਈਮੇਲ ਦੇ ਆਈਪੀ ਐਡਰੈੱਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਜਿਗਨੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਰਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
Jigneshsinh Parmar, a 21-year-old engineering student from Gujarat, was arrested by Delhi Police for sending threatening emails to Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian cricket team and former BJP MP. The emails, received on April 22, 2025, the same day as the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people, contained the message “IKillU” and were sent from a Gmail account claiming to be from “ISIS Kashmir.” Gambhir filed a complaint with the Rajinder Nagar Police Station on April 23, requesting an FIR and enhanced security for his family. Parmar’s family claims he has mental health issues, and the police are continuing their investigation.
