Jagman Samra vs CM Mann Viral Video Case : ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਜਗਮਨ ਸਮਰਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਇੱਕ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਫੱਗੂਵਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਣਾਅ ਫੈਲ ਗਿਆ। ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀ ਘਬਰਾ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਵੀ, ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੱਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਫੈਲ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਵਿਨਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਗਮਨ ਸਮਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਖੇਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਗੋਲਡੀ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੀਐਮ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਗਮਨ ਸਮਰਾ ਨੇ ਲੰਘੇ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਚੈਲੰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਥਿਤ ਵੀਡੀਓਜ਼ ਅਸਲੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਬੂਤ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
**CHANDIGARH**: The controversy over alleged obscene videos of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann intensified after the arrest of three youths from Fagguwala village, Sangrur, the hometown of Canada-based NRI Jagman Samra, who circulated the video online. Villagers, angered by the arrests, accused Punjab Police of harassing Samra’s relatives, including women, and demanded the youths’ release by Monday, threatening agitation. Samra claimed possession of multiple videos, including eight allegedly involving Mann and one featuring AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal. AAP dismissed the videos as AI-generated deepfakes, accusing the BJP of a smear campaign and noting Samra’s criminal background. Punjab Police secured a court order to remove the videos from social media but faced criticism for not conducting a forensic examination. An FIR was filed against Samra, a Canadian citizen with a prior escape from Faridkot jail, though Mann has not personally filed a complaint.
