ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਜਰਵੇਟਿਵ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ।
ਇਸ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਸੱਜੇ ਪੱਖੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਭੜਕਾਹਟ ਵੱਧ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ।

Kirk, 31, was speaking at a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event titled “The American Comeback” when a single gunshot struck him in the neck. Video footage circulating on X shows Kirk collapsing, covered in blood, as panic erupted among the large crowd gathered under a tent on the UVU campus in Orem, Utah. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Kirk succumbed to his injuries.Initial reports from the university suggested the shooter had been apprehended, but authorities later clarified that the suspect remains at large. The shot is believed to have been fired from the nearby Losee Center, approximately 200 feet from where Kirk was speaking. The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are assisting local police in the ongoing investigation, with no confirmed details about the shooter’s identity or motive yet.

President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death in a post on Truth Social, writing, “The Great and Legendary Charlie Kirk, Dead.” He described Kirk as “the greatest young American Leader in the history of our Country” and expressed condolences to Kirk’s wife, Erika, and their two young children. Vice President JD Vance called Kirk “a truly good man and a young father,” while California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, condemned the act as “heinous and reprehensible.” Former Arizona Senator Gabrielle Giffords, a survivor of a 2011 assassination attempt, expressed shock and denounced the attack.
