Mankirat Aulakh –
Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh has been actively involved in supporting flood relief efforts in Punjab, which faced severe flooding in 2025 due to monsoon rains. Reports indicate he contributed significantly to the cause, with BJP leader Manjinder Sirsa praising Aulakh’s donation, which facilitated the provision of 50 tractors to aid families affected by the floods.
Aulakh’s efforts align with the Sikh principle of Daswandh, emphasizing selfless service, as he and other Punjab-rooted celebrities like Sonu Sood and Gippy Grewal worked with NGOs and local authorities for rehabilitation.
Additionally, a YouTube source claims Aulakh donated Rs 5 crore to the Punjab Floods Relief Fund, expressing his intent to help build new homes for victims. However, this claim lacks corroboration from other sources.
Punjab’s floods, described as among the worst in recent history, submerged thousands of homes, destroyed crops, and displaced families, prompting widespread community and government response.
