“AAP, BJP plotting to change state’s demography for power” –
Senior Congress leader and Kapurthala legislator Rana Gurjeet Singh alleged on July 28 that AAP and BJP are conspiring to change Punjab’s demography by encouraging outsiders to buy properties, potentially outnumbering locals. He claims this is a strategy to help AAP and BJP gain power, with state and central leaders allegedly involved. Singh criticized the state government for acquiring 65,333 acres of fertile land across Punjab without social or environmental studies, calling it a poorly planned scheme that threatens rural livelihoods while favoring real estate development. ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਥ ਕੇ ਡੈਮੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਬਦਲੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਪ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ।
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ “ਆਪ” ਨੇ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਤੰਤਰ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੈ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵੇਲੇ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਬਦਲਦੀ ਡੈਮੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੰਢਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਅਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ ਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਹੀ ਖੇਡਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਹਾਰਨਗੇ।
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿੱਚਣ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਰਹਿਣ ਸਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਵੀ।
