New Delhi: With Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal still in jail, his close confidante and former deputy Manish Sisodia has taken charge of the party’s campaign for the assembly polls in the national capital and Haryana.
Mr Sisodia, who has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in corruption and money laundering cases linked to the Delhi liquor policy case, will today hold a meeting of the senior party members.

The 52-year-old walked out of Tihar jail on Friday after spending 17 months behind bars, giving a shot to the AAP in its arm, which is still trying to fight the setback it received after its chief, Mr Kejriwal, was sent to jail in a case related to the alleged liquor policy scam.

ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਸਿਸੋਦੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿਸੋਦੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ 2047 ਤੱਕ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਫਿਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਬਣਾਏ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਬਿਆਨਬਾਜੀ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਸਿਸੋਦੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ NDA ‘ਚ ਨਵੇਂ-ਨਵੇਂ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸੋਚੋ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਹੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੰਬਰ ਵੀ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਇਕਜੁੱਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹੁੰਕਾਰ ਭਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਵੀ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਹਾਂ, ਡਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਤੋਤੇ-ਮੈਨਾ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਾਬਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਸੀ ਕਿ 7-8 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਪਰ 17 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹੋਈ।
