ਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 159 ਸਟਰੀਟ ਅਤੇ 84 ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਲਾਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਐਬਸਫੋਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (57) ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਖਬਰ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ 1992 ਤੋਂ ਲੇਬਰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 159 ਸਟਰੀਟ ਅਤੇ 84 ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਲਾਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਐਬਸਫੋਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (57) ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਖਬਰ ਆਈ ਹੈ।
ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ 1992 ਤੋਂ ਲੇਬਰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਿੱਘੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸਨ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤੀਹ ਸਾਲ ‘ਚ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਾੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਕੰਮ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਬਹਾਨੇ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਆਏ ਸਨ।

**ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨੋਟਃ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ੋਨ ‘ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਠੀਕ-ਠਾਕ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਵੀ ਚੱਲੀ ਹੈ। ਅਫਵਾਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਫੈਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ।**

Satwinder Sharma, a well-known businessman from Abbotsford, has died after being shot by two attackers at an office near 159 Street and 84 Avenue in Surrey.
Satwinder Sharma had been involved in the labour supply business since 1992 and was known in the community as a kind, hardworking and loving individual. In the past 30 years, I never heard a negative word about him.
The suspected attackers reportedly came to the office under the pretense of seeking work.
This is deeply saddening and extremely unfortunate.
Important Note: Some people on social media are incorrectly reporting that it was Satish Sharma who was killed. That information is false. While Satwinder and Satish knew each other, they were not related and had no personal connection. I spoke with Satish Sharma over the phone—he is safe. However, he has received ransom threats and there have been two shooting incidents targeting his businesses in the past three days. Please refrain from spreading rumors.
