ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਚਾਕੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੋਈ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਤਲ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਤਲ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
