ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ‘ਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਘਟ ਰਹੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਘਟਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਜਤਾਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਘਟ ਰਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ। ਅਗਨੀਵੀਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਫੌਜ ਵੱਲ ਘਟਿਆ ਰੁਝਾਨ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਰੈਜੀਮੈਂਟ ‘ਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ।
ਸਿੱਖ ਰੈਜੀਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ- ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ। ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰੈਜੀਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਅਸਲ ਤਾਕਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ … ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਸਿੱਖ ਰੈਜੀਮੈਂਟ ਨੇ ਉੱਚ ਮਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ …ਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖਰੀ ਉਤਰਦੀ ਹੈ
The Indian Army recently issued an impassioned appeal highlighting the Sikh Regiment as one of the most distinguished and elite units in the force. With a legacy dating back to 1846, the Regiment has earned numerous honours for its bravery and performance.
However, due to dwindling numbers in recent years, several battalions face manpower shortages. The Army emphasized that the true strength of the Regiment lies in the youth of Punjab and called on them to join, become a source of pride for their families, and carry forward the glorious warrior tradition.
This appeal comes as the Regiment continues to excel, with multiple battalions recently felicitated for exemplary service. Young Sikhs from Punjab are encouraged to respond to this call and contribute to the nation’s defence.
