Gurugram, July 10, 2025: In a shocking incident, 25-year-old state-level tennis player Radhika Yadav was shot dead by her father, Deepak Yadav, at their residence in Sushant Lok Phase-2, Sector 57, Gurugram. The incident occurred on Thursday morning around 10:30 AM while Radhika was preparing food in the kitchen. Police have arrested Deepak Yadav and seized his licensed .32 bore revolver, which was used in the crime.

In his statement to the police, he said, “I asked my daughter to close the academy, but she refused. This situation caused me a lot of distress and hurt my pride. In that tension, I took out my licensed revolver and shot Radhika three times from behind while she was cooking in the kitchen.”
