ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਚੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਏ ਟੈਰਿਫ 90 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਕ ਲਏ ਹਨ।
ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਟਰੰਫ ਨੇ ਫੜ ਮਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਮੁਲਕ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਮਿੰਨਤਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਾੜੇ ਕੱਢਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਪਲਟੀ ਮਾਰਦਿਆਂ 90 ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਰੋਕ ਲਏ।
ਇਸਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਸਟਾਕ ਐਕਸਚੇਂਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਕ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਚੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਏ 104 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਜ ਚੀਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਤੇ 84% ਟੈਰਿਫ ਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਬਦਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਚੀਨ ‘ਤੇ 125% ਟੈਰਿਫ ਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਸਮਝੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੇ ਚੀਨ ਹੁਣ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਹਮੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਚੱਲੇ ਹਨ।

BREAKING: Trump says he is not interested in negotiating with Europe over the tariffs and that he will not be lifting them “unless they pay us a lot of money on a yearly basis, number one for present but also for past.”
The EU will see this as extortion. Europe and the US are no longer partners or allies. It’s only a matter of time before the European markets collapse. NATO is probably next.
